Use a Blanket as Wrapping Paper
Baby showers are a time to be creative and cute. Why not be creative and cute with your baby gift?
If you are giving a small gift, you could use your baby blanket as wrapping paper. For example, if you are giving a cute little piggy bank, put the bank in a nice box, if it’s not in one already. Spread out the baby blanket and place the box in the center.
You could wrap it like you would a regular gift in paper and use safety pins to hold it together. Or, you could gather it at the top and tie it with matching ribbon.
If you are giving clothes, you could fold the blanket as you normally would, but sneak the clothes inside. It makes for a nice surprise.
Also, if you are giving a diaper bag, you could fill it up with goodies. Instead of just giving the bag, you can surprise them with what’s inside.

If you are giving a bed or a stroller, you are out of luck. Unless you are giving several baby blankets, it would be very hard to conceal your gift in blankets. Even if you could, it probably wouldn’t have the same effect.
That shouldn’t stop you from giving your specially created baby blanket! Be creative and you can probably think of many more cute ideas for presenting your baby shower gifts.
